This is a video by Ira Glass, genius behind This American Life. For those woeful citizens amongst you who do not know TAL, it’s one of the greatest radio programs ever produced, and has recently made its way to TV. Do not hesitate, go get yourself some TAL, via download.

After you are hooked, and if you are interested in writing, you’ll want to watch the video above, and the later episodes: part II, part III, and part IV. You can’t ask for a better teacher of storytelling than Ira.

I was interviewed for Front magazine this morning, for an article about people who share names with famous rock stars.

It’ll be on the shelf March 28th. The interviewer/writer said “there’ll be a picture of a woman and a dog on the cover”.
